I'm reading an article from the New York Times website. Neighborhood Mischief Caught on Tape. By Kate Murphy. Published: November 3, 2010.http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/04/garden/04surveillance.html?pagewanted=1&ref=technology.The reason I picked this article was because I found the title funny. This is article was quite interesting. Steve Miller, a regular person living in Houston, was having trouble with his neighbor's habit of dumping bags of dog pooh on the front of his yard. He wanted to catch him redhanded so went out and bought a "do it yourself surveillance kit". These days the prices on those things are affordable and are affordable by regular income people. So he installed cameras and hid them in his bushes and stuff. He finally caught the man dumping the pooh and he never bothered him again. Steve Miller later posted the video on youtube to make him feel bad because the man didn't apologize. The article is very funny overall, showing a bunch of people following his footsteps. It's really amazing what technology can do these days.

I'm reading an article from the New York Times website. Sales of Video Game and Flagship Software Lift Microsoft. By Steve Lohr. Published" October, 2010. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/29/technology/29soft.html?ref=technology. This is my third article.

I'm reading an article from the New York Times website again. For Myspace, a Redesign to Entice Generation Y. By Miguel Helft.http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/27/technology/27myspace.html?src=me&ref=technology . The reason I picked this article was because i was interested in learning about the website, Myspace. I'm not really a social online freak like some people i know, but I've heard interesting stuff about how Myspace was crashing down and Facebook was amazing. So the article was entertaining overall. I have learned that they are transforming the website and are not competing with Facebook any longer. The article was fun and all but I didn't quite get motivated to read more about it. I guess there can be lame articles too.

It's now the second quarter and I decided to read 10 articles this time around. I just read an article in New York Times. Just Sit Back and Immerse Yourself, by Joe Sharkey.http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/26/business/26road.html?ref=technology . Well this was my first article and i think it was very interesting to read. Who doesn't want time to fly when you travel long distances? Shariar S. Afshar has invented this new KOR-fx total immersion audio-stimulation system. Mr. Afshar describes how this new technology will blow your mind away. This thing apparently makes time fly with incredible sound technology. I find this quite interesting and can't wait to try it myself. I think reading articles about things i actually enjoy will actually motivate me to keep reading. I definitely like reading articles rather than a book.

I'm reading the book 1984 by George Orwell. I haven't read much just the next chapter. I've been thinking and I have come to the conclusion that extra reading is harder than i thought. In the past few weeks I didn't know that skipping one week of reading would hurt me so much where i wouldn't be capable of catching up. All the homework that I'm getting from all my classes just builds up and there is no time left for the extra reading. I know now that something must be done. I think i should read first and then do my other homework in order to not get lazy after finishing my homework and end up not doing the extra reading.

I'm reading the book 1984 by George Orwell. Yet again I've been very busy and i can add a little lazy this time. I have only read the first chapter, and i can say it is very interesting. There was a hate program that came up on tv and i understood that people were terrified by it all except the main character. At the end of the program Big Brother came up and saved them from the terrifying picture from before. The people were relieved when he came up and loved it. I believe it was a show to make people like "big brother" also i can tell the main character hates the guy. He writes "down with big brother" over and over again.

I'm reading the book 1984 by George Orwell. It's been a busy week, and I've been a bit lazy these past few days. I really haven't gotten a good amount of free reading time, so lately I've read only a few pages. My first few pages were a bit boring. I'm thinking i might have chosen the wrong book, but I really haven't read enough to confirm it.

I'm reading the book 1984 by George Orwell. I am reading this book because all my other classmates have read it, and I feel that I am out of the group. They usually make out interesting topics about it and relate it to other books we are reading at the moment. So really I just want to know what they're talking about, and also they said the book was really interesting so ill be killing two birds with one stone.
I have not read many books in my reading life. Most i have read is school assigned books in my past years.
I am thinking that i am missing out on my reading and i should really catch up.
